T.I. talks possibly signing Troy Ave with MTV News [VIDEO]

T.I. MTVThere is a lot to be said about someone who chose the best for themselves and stood by it, no matter what. Had the industry had it their way, T.I. would’ve disappeared after his lackluster debut album sales. For a little while, they had it their way, until T.I. returned bigger and better than ever.

From 2003 through 2008, T.I. consistently was top five in the game. He was unafraid to go at the giants in the game, either, going directly at Lil’ Flip and Ludacris at the height of their careers. In the end, T.I. stood strong and began to make the world see he was the King of the South.

A lot has happened since then, so T.I. has had to grind a little bit differently, but he remains top ten. MTV News’ Rob Markman recently talked to T.I. about his new grind and some interesting topics came up. Often seen on Instagram with Troy Ave, T.I. said he may very well add him to his label.
