The Roc-A-Fella movement was really a magical time for hip hop, as Jay-Z rose to become the king of the rap game. He originally intended for his run to be a short one and to pass the torch along to Memphis Bleek, but life had other plans. Ultimately, Memphis Bleek has no regrets about how things turned out, but some fans do.
Instead of releasing albums, Memphis Bleek turned to mixtapes at a time when people really weren’t doing that. It’s been a little while since Memphis Bleek dropped a new mixtape and he doesn’t appear to have an album in sight. All of this is just fine for Memphis Bleek, as his mind is elsewhere anyway.
Memphis Bleek recently sat down with VladTV for another interview and he explained some of this. While fans may want more Memphis Bleek music, he just doesn’t feel like putting any out, at the moment. As he explained it to VladTV, Memphis Bleek said he is bored with the game right now.
