Russell Westbrook addresses winning scoring title despite team missing playoffs “sh*t”

The Oklahoma City Thunder are one of the most-successful franchises in the history of the NBA. Not counting their ignored history as the Seattle SuperSonics, they have only missed the playoffs one time. This time has seen them make the playoffs five consecutive times and go to the Finals.

Since becoming a contender, the Oklahoma City Thunder had their toughest season ever, this year. They began the season without franchise players, Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. After a 3-12 start, Westbrook stepped up and took the NBA scoring title in hopes of winning.

Kevin Durant returned, but ended up eventually sitting the entire season out. Meanwhile, Russell Westbrook did his best to lead his team back to the playoffs, but came up short after a 138-111 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. But, not making the playoffs is disappointing and Westbrook said “sh*t” in response to a question about missing the playoffs after winning scoring title.
