Talk about a comeback, right? There has always been an audience waiting for Dave Chappelle to return. Unfortunately, his self-imposed hiatus took its toll on his career and the amount of jobs he was lined up for.
Dave Chappelle got it all back together and hosted “Saturday Night Live,” bringing the show its best numbers, to date. Immediately, fans demanded Netflix do something with Dave Chappelle. They lived up to the demands and gave him a three-part special.
Definitely, Netflix showed Dave Chappelle their appreciation for having him on deck. They knew he would not come cheap, so they have pulled out all the stops for him. To the tune of $60 million, they have paid Dave Chappelle for his special, so $20 million per special, basically.
