Among the biggest stories of the weekend was the #MuslimBan, where the president put a temporary ban on citizens from nations with a Muslim-majority population. Combating this, taxi drivers and airports in major cities boycotted. But, Uber decided to override this, literally.
Uber continued offering rides to and from the major airports. Along with this, the CEO of Uber admitted to being a Trump supporter. He would go onto say he would try to work from the inside to get people to support the ban.
Because of his comments, #deleteuber became the biggest trending topic of this weekend. But, Trey Songz has some deeper information than just deleting the app. In response to this, Trey shared his longtime disdain of Lyft, gave people directions on how to delete their Uber account, and gave them his “Trey” promo code for free Lyft rides.
