During the late 2000s, Plies took over the rap game. Representing the growing Miami hip hop scene, Plies was one of many rappers connected to DJ Khaled, and his movement. In 2007, Plies burst onto the scene with “Shawty,” and would prove to have staying power.
By the summer of 2008, Plies scored another hit in “Bust It Baby,” featuring Ne-Yo. The song was one of the summer anthems and it made a household name in Plies. Since then, Plies has not seen the same levels of success.
Then, last month, Plies hit a new low when he was revealed to be driving drunk, and was arrested. Now, weeks after the arrest, the official footage has leaked online. Of course, this leak comes courtesy of TMZ.
