Just a year after announcing his and Naya Rivera’s engagement, Big Sean split from his fiancée. Not long afterward, “IDFWU,” featuring E-40 dropped. When the song dropped, Big Sean insisted it was not about Naya Rivera, going as far as saying he played the song for her.
Naya Rivera would quickly marry, following her and Big Sean’s breakup, but it also didn’t last. Meanwhile, Big Sean moved on with Ariana Grande, and, later, Jhene Aiko. Last night, Naya Rivera ended up being arrested, in West Virginia, for domestic battery.
Simply because she was with Big Sean, he became a trending topic, when the news broke. Later, Big Sean gave people a reason to talk about him. Twitter began going in on Big Sean, when he shared the video of Boosie’s daughter, ranting, “I told y’all n*ggas,” which now makes it seem as if “IDFWU” WAS about Naya.
