Fans have been waiting for a new album by Young Thug for a year now. His last project was his debut studio album, ‘So Much Fun,’ in 2019. That went on to debut at No. 1 on the Billlboard 200 chart. Now, there’s been recent speculation as to when his ‘Slime Language 2‘ album will be out.
Thug recently took to his Instagram to put out a cover art with the caption “1/29.” Fans in the comments section of his feed believe that is in fact Slime Language 2. The first SL album in 2018 was a compilation album of himself and artists from his YSL record label and this will be the case as well.
The first SL album didn’t disappoint fans at all as it debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 and included other appearances such as Lil Baby, Lil Uzi Vert, and Tracy T. If the sequel does in fact have this January 29 release date, it could very well have a solid chance of going on to be the No. 1 album in the US due to the long way for SL2.
