Early in his career, Trey Songz was the biggest R&B singer in the game. Many were crowning Trey Songz as the new generation R. Kelly. That was during his “I Invented Sex” era, when he was on top of the game.

Trey Songz dropped nothing but hits, from 2005-2012, but that’s when he saw his momentum slow. In 2014, Trey Songz enjoyed a short-lived comeback. But, the years following have seen his antics overshadow his talent.

Following an alleged sextape, Trey Songz was on set of the “Dámelo To’” video shoot, for Selena Gomez’ single, with Myke Towers. There, he spit into the mouths of two girls, sparking backlash. On Twitter, fans are going in on Trey for doing all of this, in the middle of a pandemic, even after he’s had COVID-19, himself.
