Last week, Lil Baby and Lil Durk finally delivered their collab album, “The Voice Of The Heroes.” This project was led by the self-titled single and contained solid features from Meek Mill, Young Thug, Rod Wave, and Travis Scott. 18 songs were included in total as well.
It was initially projected that Voice Of The Heroes would become the number one album in the US on the Billboard 200 chart. Now, that is official, according to Chart Data. 150,000 units were sold in its first week, with 4,000 being in pure sales. 197.71 million on-demand streams were also accumulated.
Baby and Durk originally planned to put their album out on May 28, but didn’t do so out of respect for DMX’s posthumous “Exodus” album. Regardless though, Voice Of The Heroes was still guaranteed to win big due to Baby and Durk being two of the hottest artists in the world right now.
For Baby, this is his second number one album. Last February, he put out his “My Turn” album, which is currently 3x platinum. Last December, Durk released a new album then as well with “The Voice.” Earlier in 2020, he also did very well with his “Just Cause Y’all Waited 2” mixtape.
