Quite honestly, Jaz-O doesn’t receive the credit he deserves, for his contributions to hip hop. At a time when rappers weren’t getting signed, Jaz signed with EMI. But, most only give him props for introducing Jay-Z to the world.
Jaz-O is a successful businessman, in his own right. While he didn’t reach the business, or commercial heights of his Brooklyn counterpart, he opened the door. Last year, Jay-Z repaid him, by doing a deal with Roc Nation.
Recently, Jaz-O chilled with DJ Caesar, where he spoke on his business deals. Currently, he is working on his new label, Kings County Music Group. During the interview, he also spoke on his new EP, The Warm-Up.
