Lil Durk to take break after Lollapalooza explosion on stage
On Saturday, Lil Durk performed in his hometown of Chicago, at the annual Lollapalooza festival. Unfortunately, a scary incident went down, during Durk’s set. While he was walking on stage, an explosion was set off, as it appeared to set off too early, as fireworks.
This explosion was set off near Durk’s face, as he paused on stage, to check on himself. From that point, Despite that explosion, Durk still went on to complete his Lollapalooza performance.
Now, Durk is providing fans an update, after that concerning moment. He just took to Instagram to post a photo of his face in bandages. He revealed that he is taking a break, in order to focus on his health.
”Due to the incident that happened at Lollapalooza on stage, Ima take a break and focus on my health. I finished my performance yesterday for my fans. Appreciate y’all. 💙”
Lollapalooza was Durk’s second major festival, in July. Last week, he performed at Rolling Loud Miami. It was there that he surprised fans, by bringing out Kanye West to perform. That came after Kanye initially dropped out as a RL headliner, earlier that week.
