Kandi Burruss speaks on shutting down Broadway show
Kandi Burruss is the longest tenured person on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” In season two, Kandi joined the show, and quickly became a fan favorite. Unfortunately, Kandi’s early friendships with Kim and Phaedra did not last. However, Kandi would build strong friendships with Kenya Moore and Cynthia Bailey, as the show went on. From the start, Kandi was a strong businesswoman, and she used the exposure of the show to become an even bigger success.
Kandi Burruss owned several local Atlanta businesses. In addition, Kandi had her “Kandi Koated Nights” podcast. When Kandi began appearing on the show, she expanded all of this. Not only did Kandi take her products to a new level, she also had “Kandi Koated Nights” briefly airing on TV. As a result, Kandi was able to use her relationship with Bravo to put all of her friends on. Outside of that, Kandi has even made crossover appearances on VH1, via “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” a few times.
Kandi Burruss has made many inroads in the media world. Not only has Kandi done several video projects, she has also done stage plays. Last year, Kandi had a play that made it to Broadway. However, the spread of the Omicron variant of COVID-19, forced her to shut down the dates. As a result, Kandi shut the whole show down. On last night’s episode of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Kandi was telling this to Kenya Moore and Drew Sidora.
