Hard work without the belief that it’s actually going to happen is pretty much useless and most successful people know that. Deep down, anybody who goes after it on their own has to know that. Meek Mill went for his regardless and his major label deal not only put him on, but it brought the spotlight back to his entire city.
It’s going on two years since Meek Mill put out Dreams & Nightmares and in that timeframe, he’s been dropping mixtapes. Now, Meek Mill put himself in a position to drop his second album, Dreams Worth More Than Money. Connected before the deal, with his stock rising, Meek Mill is now boasting close ties with Diddy.
Meek Mill is one of the biggest stunters on Instagram, unafraid to show off his blessings to the world. What some may see as arrogance is simply a man who went out there and took what was coming to him and that is something to be admired. Five years ago, did Meek Mill see himself standing in front of a Rolls Royce with Diddy? If not, he does now, because that’s his reality.
