A lot of people either don’t know this, or don’t remember it, but Birdman was one of Ja Rule’s only vocal supporters when 50 Cent came after him. Birdman hosted a BET countdown and urged fans to support him. Since then, a lot has happened to change the landscape.

Ja Rule soon faded from relevance, as an artist, and 50 Cent still targeted Cash Money Records. After Lil Wayne openly refused to respond to 50, he began acting friendly towards the label. But, they supported Rick Ross, who took aim at 50 Cent.

Rick Ross and Birdman were so close that they had an album they released. However, after Lil Wayne went public about how Birdman treated him and his music, Rick Ross got vocal and delivered “Idols Become Rivals.” Now, Birdman is shouting 50 out on his Instagram, offering to help him go platinum.
