Divorces lately have been all about the MONEY!
Mel B is officially single! But now the former “Spice Girl” has to pay a huge settlement to her ex-husband. Back in March 2017, Mel B filed for divorce after 10 years of marriage with Stephen Belafonte. However, after a long year a Los Angeles judge made her final decision.
According to reports, The judge ruled that Mel B must pay $350,000 towards her ex’s legal fees, half within 30 days and the remainder upon the sale of their $7.7 million mansion. The couple was forced to put their marital home on sale in order to pay back taxes they owe. As far as custody, the “Americas Got Talent” star must pay Belafonte $5,000 a month in child support for the couple’s 6-year-old daughter Madison.
You thought that was all, Stephen Belafonte also requested visitation for his 10-year-old stepdaughter, Angel, the biological daughter of Eddie Murphy. However, that request was not yet granted.
