Moneybagg Yo and NBA Youngboy were two of 2017’s hottest rappers, but they just had the misfortune of bad timing. They turned up when Kodak Black and Playboi Carti cemented themselves as forces, Lil Uzi Vert made his play, Cardi B took over the game, Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar, French Montana, and Remy Ma’s comeback, plus Future and DJ Khaled’s domination of the game. But, these two delivered Fed Babys to much fanfare, as their song, “Plea Deal,” off the tape, is blowing up.
