The death of Whitney Houston has the media buzzing, as celebrities now are sending their condolences to her family. While Whitney Houston was not a member of the hip hop community, she did leave an impact on the game. Now, the first of likely many Whitney Houston tributes have been released.
Chicago fast-spitter, Twista, recorded his song, properly titled “Whitney Houston Tribute,” with The Legendary Traxter. On the song, Twista talks of how his mother praised her singing, admitting he was tearing up on the record. At the end of the song, Twista stopped rapping, allowing anyone else to record their own verse in tribute to Whitney Houston.
