Technical difficulties kept Hip Hop Vibe from ringing the New Year in. One of 2012’s biggest mixtape offerings was set for a 2013 release. On New Year’s day, Young Scooter released his long-awaited Street Lottery mixtape. A member of Future’s Freebandz, Young Scooter also reached a deal with Gucci Mane, becoming a part of his 1017 Brick Squad. The first official release under this union is Street Lottery, which is hosted by DJ Swamp Izzo and DJ Scream. In addition to his Atlanta label bosses, Young Scooter also featured Chief Keef, Ca$h Out, OJ Da Juiceman, Bun B, OG Boo Dirty, Trouble, and many others.
