Anyone who watches the hip hop-oriented TV shows and music videos may be familiar with the face above. But, the name behind this face is Sheena J and she is a force. Given the pics, it’s clear she is a beauty, so she is already ahead of the game when it comes to the industry.

Sheena J has made great strides and she’s appeared on several television shows. The most-notable appearances Sheena J made took place on the long-running BET sitcom, “The Game,” and “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Other than this, Sheena J did several music videos.

Hip Hop Vibe talked to Sheena J for the Hottie of the Week interview. In the interview, Sheena J talked about her appearances on “The Game” and her appearance on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” She also talked about her appearances in music videos from the likes of Migos.

Read the entire interview below:

You’ve been quite the busy bee it seems. How long have you been modeling? I’m coming up on my three year anniversary in March.

Most of the models I’ve worked with were inspired by the fact they looked good and wanted to make money doing what they love. Is your story any different, what were some of your inspirations? I’m very competitive from playing sports, so I use the same mentality in modeling because this industry is extra competitive. I also love the camera and the camera loves me. People who have inspired me are Lauren London, Amber Rose, Meagan Good, and Kim Kardashian. Those are a few of the games baddest and hottest chicks and, of course, the late great Marilyn Monroe.

The Migos are one of the biggest groups out right now. How did you go about having a role in their “Handsome and Wealthy” video and tell us a little bit about the shoot? I was booked as a featured model by Malita the Mogul. I wasn’t booked as a lead model, but my stage presence and experience got me just as much camera time as the leads. I turn up (laughs) “stand in the back if you want to.” Shoutout to my first manager, Da Loudest Pack, for that famous quote.

Everyone has their share of haters, since you started modeling have you noticed your hater catalog increasing or has it been all love? I’ve always had haters so it’s nothing new, but being a model and center of attention the haters tend to swarm Sheena J. I would like to thank all of my haters for keeping me relevant. The hate is so real but so is the love. Shout out to all of my fans and supporters, I’m going to continue to make you proud.

What are some things you have absorbed as a model so far and what area’s do you think you can improve in? My poses, facial expressions, and stage presence have definitely improved over the years. It takes a lot of courage to get in front of a camera and shoot a video or photo-shoot and, at first, I would be nervous, but now the camera is my comfort zone. I live for this along with God and my beautiful daughter. Something I could work on is keeping my portfolio up to date.

So, I’m noticing that you have some good acting credentials. Can you tell us about your roles on “The Game,” “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” and in the movie Need For Speed? On the TV show, “The Game,” season six, I was a back up dancer for Trey Songz and on season seven, I was shot in a club. In both of those seasons, I had great cameos. On “The Real Housewives of Atlanta: Husbands Revealed” episode, I was booked to attend Bar One and had a speaking role talking to Peter at the bar Cynthia Bailey’s husband. The movie Need For Speed I was filmed at a car auction. All were great and wonderful experiences.

When auditioning for videos and television castings, is the competition intense? Very! This industry is very catty (Meow) (laughs) and it’s every girl for herself literally!

What is the wildest place you have ever got your boots knocked? (Laughs) Everyone has those crazy college days (um) at the park (shhhh)!

Hate to do this to you but you have one night to make love to either Chris Brown or Trey Songz who’s it going to be and why? Oh Lord, don’t make me choose, I love them both, but I would go with Trey Songz’ sexy and sophisticated ass (laughs).

Can you tell us how to find you on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook? They can reach me on Twitter @iamsheenaj, Instagram @iamsheenaj, because I AM SHEENA J. Peace, love, and happiness… one love.
