In 2008, Jamie Foxx, Ne-Yo, and Fabolous came together for a song called “She Got Her Own,” the sequel to Ne-Yo’s “Miss Independent.” Before this, rappers often bragged about how they lavishly spend on their women. Fabolous flaunted this on his “Into You” hit from 2003, but two big incomes means a lot of lavish spending, after bills of course.
A woman who is living up to the subjects in those first two songs is Starla Ricca. She is a model by night, but a businesswoman by day, a real power player. Anyone doing their own business is a good thing, but Starla Ricca is a pro who trades on the stock market, so it’s clear she’s doing fine.
Starla Ricca talked to Hip Hop Vibe for the latest Hottie of the Week edition and she revealed a little bit about herself. From the onset, it was clear Starla Ricca is a businesswoman first and foremost. But, she has a love for modeling and she definitely has the body for it.

How long have you been modeling and what have you accomplished so far? Only two months and I have done a few photo shoots and a few shoots with a few magazines. I will be on the cover of Well Connected magazine soon.
Do your career goals extend outside of modeling and dancing? Yes, I do trade in the stock market. So eventually I plan to have a hedge fund and own high end real estate properties in Texas and Miami.
Do you ever use your sex appeal to get over on the opposite sex? Yes I do, I am always sexy but very classy.
How does a young woman so beautiful balance life as an exotic dancer and still find time to trade on the stock market? Well, I have my priorities straight. I trade in the stock market for a living, so I trade in the daytime and I dance at night or whenever I want to. I dance for fun and to promote myself.
What’s the craziest thing you have experienced while dancing in a club? (Laughs) guys exposing themselves and guys having orgasams.
How did you get branded with the hashtag #TeamCamelToe? I always had a camel toe, even when I was young, people noticed it. So now I am making it known and it is different.
Name two NFL football players that can get it. I only like men who treat me with respect so just because you are an athlete does not mean you can get me. See, I love football and I love watching football so players don’t phase me I’m really a football fan.
You spend a lot of your time barely clothed and in front of cameras. If you could do a nude photo-shoot anywhere in the world where would it be and who would be in the pics with you? No one would be in the pic with me (Laughs), I want all of the attention. I would definitely go back to my family’s home country Dominican Republic and shoot on one of their beautiful beaches.
When people say the name Starla Ricca, what is the first thing you want to remember? My sexuality, beautiful face and body and my personality and smartness.
