In the hip hop world, 2 Chainz is still the biggest name in the game. Starting off on the mixtape level, 2 Chainz soon caught up with and passed the likes of Future and Pill. At the gate, 2 Chainz caught the attention of the rap game. His mainstream success started with his “No Lie” single, which featured Drake.
Since then, 2 Chainz has continued to put out hit singles. “I’m Different” was the last single released from 2 Chainz on his Based on a T.R.U. Story. The album certified gold and a follow-up is already in the works. Now, though, 2 Chainz is also focusing his attention on his artists, including Cap1, Ronn Makk, and CWhite.
However, when 2 Chainz last visited Maryland, he found himself in a bit of trouble, according to reports. 2 Chainz and the rest of his crew were on their way to University of Eastern Shore for their homecoming show when they were arrested for possession of marijuana. After the situation was over, 2 Chainz talked about it on Twitter and released a picture of him with the arresting officers.
