Rap is what 50 Cent will always be known for, but his business moves are something to pay attention to, also. After years of being unhappy at Interscope, he finally exited the label. Now, 50 Cent has an independent deal with Capitol Records.

A few years ago, it was rumored that 50 Cent set up an indie deal with Capitol for his G-Unit label. This time, it was the real deal and 50 Cent is preparing the release of his Animal Ambition album. Animal Ambition is the first 50 Cent album in five years when it drops on June 3.

50 Cent recently sat down with Rob Markman for Sirius XM and their interview played during a recent episode of Sway’s “RapFix Live” on MTV. In the latest clip that aired, 50 Cent talked about his history with Interscope, Dr. Dre, and Eminem, along with the new album and his latest deal with Caroline/Capitol.
