One of the more fashion-forward rappers in the game is A$AP Rocky. In some of his earlier interviews, A$AP Rocky talked about how he often got into fights over the way he dressed. Deemed as different by the masses, his style of dress hearkens back to a simpler time, the 1990s.
Recently, A$AP Rocky has talked about his admiration for the 1990s era hip hop and how he wants to bring it back. While his style may come off as a nod to simpler times, this actually is not the case. Inspired by the masses, his style reflects the way he grew up.
GQ held a session with A$AP Rocky for their May issue. In the interview, A$AP Rocky talked about how he originally had ambitions of modeling. All in all, something different is brought to the game by A$AP Rocky, as he continues to do things outside of the box.
