Throughout the year of 2017, “Love & Hip Hop” fans heard rumblings about “Love & Hip Hop Miami.” Heck, even the people cast for the show were talking about it. Despite that, Mona Scott-Young waited as long as she could before confirming the show.
Towards the end of the “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” season, last season, popular Miami rapper, Gunplay, made an appearance. He came on as a friend of Scrappy and Stevie J. After hanging out with Gunplay, Scrappy decided to leave for Miami with him, setting up the new show.
Amara La Negra ended up being the show’s breakout star, however, and she has expanded the race debates, as well. When she stopped by Power 106, in LA, however, she was discussing more light topics. She and J Cruz discussed strip clubs, her DMs, her new music, and much more.
