Two years ago, Amina Buddafly joined the “Love & Hip Hop” cast when the show decided to give Peter Gunz a bigger role. This decision led to plenty of bad press for Gunz. At the same time, it allowed millions to sympathize with Amina and Tara Wallace.
Last season, Amina and Tara appeared to be close to getting on good terms with each other. This past spring, Amina talked to Hip Hop Vibe about this, saying they were taking it one day at a time. All of this seems to have flown out of the window, as of the season premiere.
Claiming it is an effort to be closer to his children, Peter Gunz decided to move Tara and their kids into the building Amina lives in. But, it was obvious Peter was still sleeping with Tara… on an air mattress, but Amina continues to fight for him, with many, including Rich, comparing her and Tara to Brandy and Monica in “The Boy Is Mine.” Amina laughed it off, though.
