Recently, Angie Martinez has returned to the forefront, in a very big way, with “Untold Stories of Hip Hop.” For years, she’s been the top radio host in New York. While she’s best-known for her time at Hot 97, but she’s spent the past five years at Power 105.1.
Angie Martinez, through her twenty-plus years, has had the opportunities to interview generations of stars. Many rappers have spoken to Angie, and some don’t consider themselves as “made it,” until they speak to her. That is a testament to her impact on culture.
Sitting down with N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN, for “Drink Champs,” Angie Martinez discussed her illustrious career. During the interview, she spoke on her interviews with Tupac, Biggie, Nas, and Jay-Z. She discussed those past conversations with those legends.
