When “The X Factor” was airing, Astro became one of the first stars of the program. All the people who chose to watch it said they felt Astro could go a long way in the game game. Being on television in front of millions definitely helped Astro to build his profile and he has had strong mixtape success.
Last year, Astro released Starvin Like Marvin For A LL Cool J Song, which was met with critical acclaim. During this period of time, Astro also talked to Hip Hop Vibe about his new music and his outside plans. A lot has changed for Astro in the time since then and he revealed a big movie role to Hot 97.
Astro is doing what he can to promote his film debut and he visited BET to talk to the duo of Bow Wow and Keshia Chante at “106 & Park.” Here, Astro spoke on his upcoming movie role with the crowd. He had quite a bit to say about his overall growth during the conversation.
