Atlantic Records says Cardi B’s album is coming this year

Earlier this week, Cardi B took to Twitter/X to claim that her long-awaited sophomore album isn’t coming out in 2024. This comes after previously aiming for this project to finally be out, sometime this year. Moreover, Cardi emphasized how she hates the interactions she deals with with others on social media. Therefore, she wants to rest more, and not put out her sophomore effort in 2024.

However, Cardi’s label is saying otherwise, in regards to her sophomore album coming in 2024. Atlantic Records took took to Twitter X to say that the album is coming in 2024, and is one of the most anticipated projects of the year. This also comes after Cardi said she’d only release singles that she already has collaborations with.

“Cardi B’s upcoming album is one of the most anticipated this year,” said Atlantic Records on Twitter/X. “We can’t wait put it out, even if we have to sneak into her studio and take it!”

Hopefully, Atlantic and Cardi do in fact finally put this album out. Cardi’s previous project was way back in April 2018, with her debut album, “Invasion Of Privacy.” That debuted atop the Billboard 200, won Best Rap Album at the Grammys, and had two diamond singles in “Bodak Yellow” and “I Like It” featuring J Balvin and Bad Bunny.
