One of the more gifted vocalists to emerge in the past year is August Alsina, who has broken away from the pack. Def Jam quickly realized the talent and signed him and he has already dropped a couple of hit records. This is all headlined by his joint that is still blowing up, “I Love It,” with Trinidad James.
August Alsina dropped both a mixtape and an EP last summer that did well in introducing him to the masses. In a few months worth of time, August Alsina is here now as an established artist. Coming up for him now is his debut album, Testimony, which is due in two months.
Testimony is due to be released on April 15 and the game is reacting accordingly to the planned release date. Before going in and releasing the album, August Alsina is pushing the singles, all of which have some heavy hitters on them, such as B.o.B. and Jeezy. Also, August Alsina released the official artwork for the album on Instagram this week.
