In 2013-2014, August Alsina became the biggest new R&B name, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Trey Songz and Chris Brown. A lot of success came for August Alsina in a short time period. For the bulk of 2015, August Alsina stayed out of the spotlight.
However, August Alsina did return with his single, “Hip Hop,” the launch for his new album. While August Alsina said his album is coming next year, 2016 is more likely. Either way, August Alsina is continuing to work.
