Though Los Angeles hip hop in the 1990s is best-known for gangsta rap and their high-profile feud with the New York hip hop scene. But, long before that, the West Coast hip hop scene battled within itself. Ice Cube feuded with Eazy-E and the entire NWA after leaving NWA.

Among the people Ice Cube worked with after departing NWA was Spanish hip hop group, Cypress Hill. Ice Cube and B-Real were fast friends and collaborated together on several songs. While Ice Cube and B-Real were fast friends, they also were fast enemies, as they began feuding over “Throw Your Set in the Air.”

All is now well between Ice Cube and B-Real, but many often reflect back to their feud, which was a hip hop classic. B-Real has recently done a couple interviews where he talked about several topics of the past. Vlad TV sat B-Real down and he talked about the feud with Ice Cube.
