Before rappers were being sent to prison frequently, (Lil Wayne, T.I., Ja Rule, etc.), Beanie Sigel was forced to spend a year in prison. During this time, Roc-A-Fella Records was breaking up and when he was released, Beans was torn. Eventually, Beanie Sigel decided to remain with the Roc, leading to more controversy down the road.
Beanie Sigel, after defending Jay-Z, had choice words for his former boss for well over two years. In two years of dissing Jay-Z, even bringing 50 Cent into the feud, Beanie Sigel only received one response from his former mentor. Once he decided to stop dissing Jay-Z, things began to happen for Beanie Sigel, who landed a distribution deal with EMI Records.
While he is getting everything in order, Beanie Sigel had more legal troubles to take care of. Beanie Sigel recently went to federal court to settle a suit against him over tax evasion. Following his departure from the courthouse, AllHipHop.com caught up with Beanie Sigel, asking him about his legal woes and his new music, as he released his new mixtape hours ago.
