Beyoncé announces “Cowboy Carter” as title for upcoming album
Last month, Beyoncé broke the interest, after revealing that she would be releasing a country album on March 29. She identified this project as “Act II.” Moreover, that was the same night that she put out a commercial with Verizon, during the Super Bowl. This album comes less than two years after the release of Bey’s Billboard 200 chart-topping “Renaissance” album.
In addition to Beyoncé’s album announcement and Super Bowl commercial that night, she released two new country singles. These were “16 Carriages” and “Texas Hold ‘Em.” As a result, Texas Hold ‘Em went on to debut atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Meanwhile, Beyonce has just confirmed the official title for her album, which is arriving next month. This project will be titled “Cowboy Carter,” which is definitely fitting, considering it’s a country album. Moreover, the cover art was also unveiled by Bey, as a cowboys saddle was displayed, along with a “Cowboy Carter” ribbon on it. Preorder options on all streaming platforms are also now available now.
