What was a simple conversation has turned into the biggest story of the entire 2019 NBA Finals. While the Golden State Warriors were being crushed by the Toronto Raptors, Jay-Z wound up in conversation with a random woman.
Beyonce has the most-dedicated fan base in all of entertainment, in the #BeyHive, so they searched this woman, and harassed her. It turns out, this woman is Nicole Curran, the wife of Joe Lacob. This is the wife of one of the team’s owners, so it could have been business talk.
The simple conversation led to death threats and Nicole Curran speaking out, saying she’s happily married. Still, the #BeyHive kept swarming. This morning, Beyonce’s publicist spoke out about not spewing hate in her name, which may have fallen on deaf ears, as some fans are dragging her, too.
