This year, there has been a lot of things that have been going on, socially and politically. In response to all the unjust things that have taken place, Colin Kaepernick began kneeling during the National Anthem before every game. That may have led to his free agency.
Colin Kaepernick has become the one who has been made the poster child of all of this. Many conservatives have found it funny that he is without a team. But, everyone else who has seen this is aware of how unjust it is, when other NFL players were applauded for kneeling.
Sports Illustrated knew what was up, so they did the right thing. Last night, at their award show, Beyonce presented Colin Kaepernick with the Muhammad Ali Legacy Award. There, Colin Kaepernick delivered a rousing speech about courage.
