Beyonce tells crew to turn the fan on in middle of performance
Beyonce was enjoying one of the biggest solo debuts, twenty years ago. During the summer of 2003, her second single with Jay-Z was everywhere. In the midst of 50 Cent’s mania, these two managed to top the Billboard Hot 100 for most of the summer. This was en route to Beyonce having a highly successful debut album. In addition, she instantly became an icon. Decades later, she still performs in front of sold out crowds. Her recent performance had a viral moment when she asked for the fan to be turned on.
Beyonce is also credited for how humble of a person she is. Nearly a decade ago, she was doing a show, and some fans were taking selfies. Unbeknownst to them, Beyonce actually took a break to jump in the photo with them, while she was on stage. The fans weren’t aware of what happened until after they turned around. By that time, Beyonce was back on the stage, and doing her thing. Meanwhile, she gave those fans the biggest celebrity moment of their lives.
Beyonce has now given her fans a good laugh. During her most recent performance, the stage quality was a bit lacking. As a result, Beyonce found herself getting hot while trying to perform. Given how hot the weather has been, this can become dangerous. However, this situation wasn’t dangerous for Beyonce, it was dangerous for her crew if they didn’t get it right. Hilariously, she sat while performing, and told her crew to turn those fans on. After that, she resumed performing.
