One major part of T.I.’s strategy was returning his Grand Hustle Records to full operational form. With T.I. in and out of prison, his record label floundered in his absence. T.I. went on a signing spree earlier this year and he has hailed the new movement Grand Hustle 2.0.
Big Kuntry King was first heard by the masses on the “Top Back (remix),” alongside Young Jeezy, Young Dro, and B.G. The Atlanta rapper gained much attention off his feature. Over the years, Big Kuntry King has kept himself going with mixtapes. Only one album came, 2008’s My Time to Eat.
When he sat down with Young Jack Thriller for ThisIs50.com, Big Kuntry King would speak on his latest mixtape, Dope & Champagne. Big Kuntry King discussed several other topics, also speaking on the growing Atlanta hip hop scene. During the interview, Kendrick Lamar and Wiz Khalifa were also discussed.
