Last year, things were set up for Big Sean to have a big year. Closing 2011, Big Sean revealed he was working on his sophomore album. Big Sean announced both his next album and the G.O.O.D. Music compilation. Starting in the spring of 2012, Kanye West began promoting Cruel Summer, which faced several delays.
With Cruel Summer facing several delays, this also led to delays for Big Sean. The album finally impacted on September and Big Sean had a major boost off appearing on “Clique” alongside Jay-Z and Kanye West. Next for Big Sean was his Detroit mixtape and then his album was to follow.
No doubt, Big Sean would have closed 2012 as the hottest rapper in the game, but the work was taking a major toll on him. Ultimately, Big Sean pushed his album back to take some of the pressure off. Recently, Big Sean announced his European tour dates for his tour which will take place before the Hall of Fame album is released.
