Cash Money Millionaires reunion show coming to Essence Festival
This summer, Essence Festival is scheduled to host its events and concerts once again, in New Orleans. This will be held inside the Caesars Superdome, which is home to the NFL’s New Orleans Saints. Moreover, this year’s festivities will take place from July 4-7.
Meanwhile, first artist lineup announcement for Essence Festival has been made. Birdman and members of his Cash Money crew from the late 1990s and early 2000s will be linking up for a reunion concert. The original Cash Money members included Lil Wayne, BG, Turk, as well as Juvenile. All are from New Orleans, and are each regarded as hip-hop legends from the city.
“Let’s go 30 years for 30 years and start this thing off with New Orleans,” said Essence Festival on social media. “The most anticipated reunion goes down at this year’s ESSENCE Fest. You asked, and we delivered. Birdman Presents: 30 years of Cash Money Millionaires.”
Tickets on sale for Essence Fest are available now, as the full lineup will be available soon. 2023’s Essence Festival featured performances from Megan Thee Stallion, Lauryn Hill, Missy Elliott, and more.
