Bobby Shmurda has been out of prison for almost two months now as he’s definitely been enjoying his. freedom. He’s visited Brooklyn Nets games as well as getting booked for appearances in Atlanta during NBA All-Star weekend. He has since revealed that he’s been back in the studio and recently, gave fans a preview of what he’s been working on.
The Brooklyn rapper was in a dark room while the music was playing a song he was recording. Bobby was definitely feeling the energy of it as one of the lyrics also revealed that he said that he’s the King of New York. Many believe that this is the case right now when it comes to current hot rappers from NYC.
A day after Bobby’s release from prison, he also received new plaques for his music. His 2014 breakout hit single, “Hot N*gga,” was certified 5x platinum in the US, the “Bobby B*tch” single hit platinum status, and his “Shmurda She Wrote” EP hit gold. Fans are continue to wait for at least a new single to be released soon as well as possibly his debut studio album sometime this year.
