Bobby Shmurda has been a free man since late February, after serving almost a 7-year prison sentence. He’s been at events such as Brooklyn Nets games, and even performed at Rolling Loud Miami. Last month, the Brooklyn rapper finally put out new music, with his “No Time To Sleep Freestyle.”
Bobby continues to give back to communities as well, this time, in his hometown of New York City. Bobby put out a video to reveal that he is helping students, with their needed school supplies. These are for students in elementary school, all the way through high school.
Bobby says he donated 2,000 backpacks, as they all contain supplies in them as well. Items included are pencils, pens, notebooks, folders, and more. These were all distributed to six schools in NYC. He noted how he’s proud of these students, and emphasized that they can reach their goals if they stay focused.
