Bobby Shmurda was released from prison two days ago as hip-hop rejoiced after almost seven years. He was picked up by Quavo and his crew and was reunited with Rowdy Rebel and his family as well. Shmurda is also in very good shape as he’s shared some photos on his Instagram feed.

To no surprise, Shmurda’s music was played heavily by fans the day after his release and currently as well. The numbers were much bigger, according to Chart Data. Following the Brooklyn rapper’s release, his on-demand streams went up up 624% in the US.

Bobby’s last singles were in 2014 with his breakout hit, “Hot N*gga,” and “Bobby B*tch.” His debut EP, “Shmurda She Wrote,” also dropped that year. As of now, he hasn’t revealed his plans regarding new music but in the meantime, his throwback hits are still keeping listeners very occupied.
