Caesars Palace releases statement, regarding full hotel reservation refunds, after Adele postponed Las Vegas residency concerts

On Thursday, Adele delivered devastating news, regarding her Las Vegas residency concerts. These were supposed to kick off tonight, at Caesars Palace. The singer revealed that COVID-19 cases within her team is what caused this residency to be postponed, as they did everything they could, to possibly go on with the shows.

“I’m so sorry, but my show ain’t ready. We’ve tried absolutely everything we can to put it together in time and for it to be good enough for you, but we’ve been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and Covid. Half my crew and team are [ill] with Covid and still are, and it’s been impossible to finish the show. Im gutted — I’m sorry it’s so last minute, we’ve been awake for over 30 hours trying to figure it out and we’ve run out of time. I’m so upset and I’m really embarrassed and so sorry to everyone that traveled to get [to the show]. I’m really, really sorry.”

Now, a rep for Caesars Palace has now released a statement, to TMZ, regarding the postponement of tonight’s Adele concert, as well as the ones moving forward. Whoever booked a stay at the hotel, will be given full refunds.
“We fully support Adele and are confident the show she unveils at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace will be extraordinary. Additionally, guest who booked hotel rooms through Caesars Entertainment’s site or customer call center at any of our properties can cancel for a full refund.”
This also comes two months after Adele released her first album since 2015, with “30.” This topped the Billboard 200 chart, and became her fourth straight number one album. Her “Easy On Me” single also debuted at number one, on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
