Cardi B has a lot of momentum right now as she she released her new single, “Up,” last week. The music video was put out as well and it received a lot of praise for its visuals.
At the same time though, Cardi does get negative feedback a lot of things, including songs. This is common for celebrities in general but for her, she’s had enough. Cardi has taken to Twitter to say that she’s tired of people coming at her online snd this could force her to “explode” and go back to her old ways.
“I’m tired of people coming for me .It’s going to be a day when I explode and I really don’t want to go back to my old self.”
Fans have since wondered that “old self” Cardi is referring to. The “old self” that many remember The most is her “Love and Hip-Hop: New York” days, where she first became a star.
Criticism and success is what Cardi knew she signed up for. The good news for her though is that Up may be the No. 1 song in the country this week and her second consecutive No. 1 single.
