Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset after close to three years of marriage. September 20 would’ve been their three-year anniversary. Many have since been wondering why the “Bodak Yellow” star decided to break things off. One rumor has been that the Migos rapper had a baby outside of their marriage.
According to Page Six, Cardi’s reps have completely shut down this speculation. They have labeled this rumor as “super false.”
“There is no other child,” explained the source. No baby is on the way. That rumor is super false. Cardi is thinking of her child and wants everything to be amicable. She’s evolved over the years and continues to.”
Cardi has also since changed legal documents after she realized that she mistakenly requested primary custody of their 2-year-old daughter, Kulture. She wants her and Offset to be able to have custody and begin co-parenting.
“She went back to have the petition amended because she wasn’t aware that it read ‘primary custody.’ She wants them both to have custody and to co-parent. She’s not requesting spousal support or child support. She wants everything to be super amicable.”
Offset was part of multiple cheating allegations but Cardi never ended the relationship. The most notable situation was when Instagram model, Summer Bunni, claimed that Offset was trying to have relations with her. Offset ended up apologizing to Cardi publicly at the Rolling Loud festival in Los Angeles in December 2018.
