One of the oddest stories in recent history is that of Charles Hamilton, a promising emcee from Harlem. Poised to take over the game and one of the hottest talents of the 2008-2009 period, he dealt with a lot. It seems a number of setbacks stopped Charles Hamilton from reaching his peak.
While Charles Hamilton faced many hurdles, the likes of Drake, J. Cole, Big Sean, and Wale all gained stardom. By 2011, the four of those emcees were on top of the game. Meanwhile, Charles Hamilton was all but forgotten, but he is proving he still is capable of taking the game over.
Charles Hamilton stopped by Hot 97, talking to Peter Rosenberg and Laura Stylez. In the interview, Charles Hamilton didn’t focus too much on what happened right before his hiatus, but he did explain where he has been. Ending things with a freestyle, Charles Hamilton also talked about his future, which is looking bright.
