Not only is that sitcom considered a classic, it has also built a cult following. As a result, Chris Rock has become a major industry figure.
Chris Rock rose to fame, after his role in New Jack City. A few years later, Chris Rock appeared in the final season of “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.” Rock’s appearance on “Fresh Prince” was one of his first TV appearances. In addition, this was one of Chris Rock’s first times meeting Will Smith. A decade later, Chris Rock’s brother, Tony Rock, starred in “All of Us,” a sitcom produced by Will Smith.
Chris Rock and Will Smith had a friendship that extended beyond entertainment. After all, Will Smith cast Tony Rock for his “All of Us” sitcom with his lifelong friend, Duane Martin. When Will Smith slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars, things changed. While Chris Rock remained silent, Tony Rock immediately called Will Smith out. After that, Mama Rock spoke out against Will Smith. This week, Will Smith finally apologized to Chris Rock, Tony, their mother, and the family. In response, Chris Rock said whoever said words can’t hurt has never been punched in the face by Suge Smith.
