Earlier this year, Shorty Mack complained about hip hop becoming too peaceful, during his interview with Hip Hop Vibe. Over the past three days, alone, his comments have become far from valid. Starting with Game fighting a former member of Young Jeezy’s CTE at Lil Wayne’s birthday bash, the battling has been on.
In Atlanta, the focus is on the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards, which has become a literal fight club. Young Jeezy, himself, and Rick Ross engaged in a high-profile fight. Their antics would be followed by Maybach Music’s Gunplay fighting five members of G-Unit, who attempted to jump him.
Now, the latest Twitter beef emerges, coming from Coke Boy Brock and Shyne. Over the past year, Coke Boy Brock has released several mixtapes. Shyne recently returned with his Gangland mixtape. Many have expressed disappointment in the new style from Shyne, a sharp contrast from his previous songs. Coke Boy Brock expressed this disappointment on Twitter.
Coke Boy Brock would respond to a Shyne fan who was praising the Gangland mixtape. In his response, Coke Boy Brock said Shyne should never rap again. Minutes later, Shyne responded, calling Coke Boy Brock a “creep.” From there, the beef was on, as Coke Boy Brock said Shyne should be begging him for a feature. Continuing to trash the former Bad Boy Records’ star, Coke Boy Brock said he wished Shyne was in the United States, so he could spit in his face.
Sending other insults in the direction of Shyne, Coke Boy Brock soon had the other Coke Boys re-tweeting his words. While Shyne has yet to offer another response, Coke Boy Brock reportedly has plans to making a diss record. To see the actual Twitter beef between the two rappers, follow Coke Boy Brock on Twitter @cokeboybrock, and follow Shyne on Twitter @originalshyne. Manager, K-Dog has also been watching the beef, urging both rappers to keep it in the music and not violent, like the Atlanta beefs.
