Without a doubt, Taraji P. Henson has rocked the role of Cookie on FOX’s hit series, “Empire.” Cast to play her rival is Grace Gealey, who plays the role of Anika. Despite being a newcomer, Gealey held her own against the veteran Henson.
In tonight’s episode, things came to a head between Cookie and Anika, who have been forced to be on the same side. Suddenly, Lucious and Jamal (Terrence Howard and Jussie Smollett) have joined forces. Now, the rest of the players have teamed up.
During a meeting between Hakeem (Bryshere “Yazz” Gray), Andre (Trai Byers), Cookie, and Anika, the ladies’ pot shots led to a catfight. Just when it looked like Cookie won, Anika would come back for more. This catfight definitely had the people talking all over Twitter, as this is the “Empire” season finale.
